The bottom line
Mangomint has one plan: $120 a month per location plus $10 per user. In-person cards cost 2.45% + 15¢. A 3-person salon taking $15,000 a month in 250 payments pays about $555 a month all in, by our math.
That’s more than most salon apps at the same size. What you get for it is no contract, online booking on your own website, and the option to use your own card processor.

Who it’s for
- Salons and spas that want booking on their own site. Mangomint says its “online booking sits directly on your website, and you keep 100% of appointments booked.”
- Owners who want to keep their processor. Mangomint says you can use your own processor “instead of (or in addition to)” its own.
- Larger businesses. Mangomint says “Large businesses may qualify for custom rates.”
Who should skip it
- Solo professionals. You pay $130 a month for one location and one user before you take a payment.
- Salons watching every dollar. At $15,000 a month, Mangomint costs $100 to $128 more than Square Free, Fresha or GlossGenius in our salon comparison.
The catch
The plan fee is high for a small team. A 3-person salon pays $150 a month before card fees. GlossGenius Gold is $56 billed monthly, and Fresha’s Team plan for 3 is $44.85.
Add-ons cost extra. Phone, marketing and payroll each carry their own monthly fee.
Virtual payments cost 2.90% + 30¢. Deposits, card-on-file and online payments cost more than in-person taps.
No payout speed is published. Ask before you sign.
What it costs at your size
These are estimates. They use Mangomint’s published prices and assume every payment is in person, with no add-ons.
Example 1: solo stylist, $5,000 a month, 80 payments.
- Rate: 2.45% × $5,000 = $122.50
- Per-sale fee: 80 × 15¢ = $12
- Plan: $120 + $10 for one user = $130
- Estimated total: $264.50 a month, an effective rate of about 5.3%
Example 2: 3-person salon, $15,000 a month, 250 payments.
- Rate: 2.45% × $15,000 = $367.50
- Per-sale fee: 250 × 15¢ = $37.50
- Plan: $120 + 3 × $10 = $150
- Estimated total: $555 a month, an effective rate of 3.7%
The plan fee matters less as you grow. Check your own month in the fee calculator.

Common questions
How much does Mangomint cost per month?
Mangomint says its monthly price is $120 per location and $10 per user. So a 3-person salon pays $150 a month before add-ons. Add-ons cost extra: Phone is $70 a month per line, Marketing starts at $30 a month, and Payroll is $50 a month plus $8 per worker. Card fees come on top.
What are Mangomint's card processing fees?
Mangomint lists 2.45% + 15¢ per successful in-person payment, and 2.90% + 30¢ for virtual payments. On a $100 service, that's $2.60 in person or $3.20 virtual, by our math. Mangomint also says large businesses may qualify for custom rates, so ask if your volume is high.
Can I use my own credit card processor with Mangomint?
Yes. Mangomint says: "You can use your own credit card processor instead of (or in addition to) Mangomint's payment processing." That can matter if you already have a low rate with another processor. Ask Mangomint which processors work with it before you switch your booking software.
Does Mangomint have a contract?
No. Mangomint says: "We don't do contracts or have hidden fees. Because we don't lock you into a contract, you're free to cancel any time." It doesn't publish a payout speed on its pricing page. Ask how long card payments take to reach your bank before you sign up.
