The short answer
Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT) charges per unit, by weight, and the fee includes delivery: $4.28 for a one-unit order of an item 4 oz or less, falling to $1.56 per unit when one shopper buys 4 or more. Storage is free for the first 60 days, then $0.03 per cubic foot per day, up to $0.27 after a year. Checked Oct 22, 2026.
The same 4 oz or less order through Amazon MCF costs $7.34 ($7.53 in Amazon’s holiday peak, plus a 3.5% surcharge). And 15 of the 19 3PLs we track say on their own sites that they take TikTok Shop orders (one only through Shopify); they bill pick and pack plus postage, and can ship your other channels too.
What Fulfilled by TikTok charges per order
FBT has no order fee. You pay a fulfillment fee for each unit, set by the unit’s weight and by how many of your FBT units are in the same checkout. In TikTok’s words: "FBT fulfillment fees include pick, pack, packaging, and last-mile shipping to the shopper. Fees are charged on a per-unit basis."

TikTok's card continues to 150 lb; rows above 10 lb are on its rate card. Multi-unit rates apply only to units from the same seller in one checkout. The card shows no holiday peak rate.
Weight is measured by TikTok’s warehouse when your stock arrives. A unit up to 2 lb and 332 cubic inches is charged on its actual weight. Anything bigger is charged on the greater of actual weight and dimensional weight (length times width times height in inches, divided by 166). Bundles you pre-pack count as one unit; a virtual bundle of separate items counts as several.
FBT storage
The daily rate per cubic foot climbs with the age of the stock. Stock sold within 60 days stores free.

Other FBT fees
Getting stock in
Sending stock straight to the fulfillment centers TikTok assigns: no placement fee. Routing it through TikTok's East or West Hub: from $0.04 per unit (4 oz or less), $0.18 East or $0.21 West at 1 to 2 lb. Missing TikTok's routing or booking rules adds incident fees.
Mid Hub placement at $0, not the regular price: $0.00 per unit for units up to 16 oz sent to TikTok's Mid Hub. Who: Sellers who route inventory through the Mid Hub (units of 16 oz or less; heavier units pay the regular Mid Hub rate). Ends: December 31, 2026. After: from January 1, 2027, the Mid Hub charges $0.04 per unit (4 oz or less) rising to $0.12 per unit (12 to 16 oz). Offer terms

Free shipping is on by default
Every FBT item ships free to the shopper. You can opt out: shoppers then pay $5.99 on orders under $30, you still pay the full FBT fee, and TikTok credits you $0.75 per unit on those orders.
Not published
No setup fee, account fee or order minimum appears on TikTok's FBT pages. FBT does no kitting: "Ensure all physical bundles are assembled/pre-packed prior to arrival at FBT, as FBT currently does not offer kitting services." You join from Seller Center, which offers "Join the Waitlist" or "Get Started".
FBT vs Amazon MCF for TikTok orders
Amazon says its Multi-Channel Fulfillment is "Amazon Multichannel Fulfillment (MCF) is a supported fulfillment solution for TikTok Shop". Both include delivery, so they compare directly. At every weight both publish, FBT's one-unit fee is lower, even outside Amazon's holiday peak.

Amazon's holiday peak runs Oct 15, 2026 to Jan 14, 2027, and Amazon adds a 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge on top of both MCF columns. Amazon also sorts items by size, so a bulky light item can land in a dearer Amazon tier. FBT bills by weight, using dimensional weight for units over 2 lb or 332 cubic inches.

Pick and pack plus postage often looks lower than FBT’s fee when it isn’t. At 12 to 16 oz, FBT charges $5.10 with delivery. Amplifier’s one-item pick and pack is $3.10, and a 1 lb USPS Ground Advantage commercial label adds $8.01 to $11.22 depending on distance (USPS Notice 123, effective Oct 4, 2026; compare labels on the cheapest way to ship). 3PLs with negotiated carrier rates may pay less for postage, so ask what they pass through. Checked on each provider's own site on Oct 22, 2026. We found no TikTok Shop connection stated by Stord (incl. former Ware2Go by UPS), Saltbox, Ryder E-commerce Fulfillment (formerly Whiplash), Easyship Fulfillment. Not found is not proof they can't do it: ask.

Shipping TikTok orders yourself
TikTok sets the clock. Its fulfillment policy says orders must be scanned by the carrier within 2 business days and delivered within 6. If tracking isn’t in Seller Center within 5 business days, TikTok cancels the order. And if more than 10% of orders dispatch late, TikTok “may take additional enforcement actions”. Business days exclude weekends and US federal holidays.
That works when you ship daily and volume is steady. The risk is a video that takes off: a week of orders lands in a day, and the deadline doesn’t move. Price the labels on what shipping costs a small business.
Which one fits
- FBT: you sell mostly on TikTok Shop, items are small and light, and stock turns within 60 days. Eligible FBT items get TikTok’s “Free 3-Day Delivery” tag. FBT doesn’t kit, so bundles must arrive pre-packed.
- A 3PL: you also sell on your own site, Amazon or wholesale, want one stock pool, custom packaging or kitting. Compare their quotes in the 3PL cost calculator with your label cost added.
- Yourself: low volume, or products FBT can’t take, and you can ship within 2 business days every time.
