ShipBob alternatives: who else to ask, and who publishes a lower price

ShipBob keeps its main per-order fee in the quote, so the fair comparison is with 3PLs that publish theirs. Below: who our rules pick at each volume, then ShipBob vs ShipMonk.

Updated October 26, 2026 How we check prices Published by Ian Chang We may earn a fee from some providers. It never changes the prices we show or what we recommend. How we rank

The short answer

ShipBob publishes storage from $5 a bin a month and its receiving rate, but its per-order fee comes only in a quote. Among 3PLs that publish every per-order fee, our rules pick Amplifier at every volume from 50 to 2,500 orders a month (postage billed on top) and Fulfyld at 50 and 250 orders (delivery included). ShipMonk publishes no amounts at all.

Our pick, per order volume

Same rules as our 3PL comparison: a US warehouse, a minimum your volume meets, then the lowest full monthly bill from published prices. Postage-on-top and delivery-included prices are judged apart.

Postage billed on top

  • For 50 orders a month, 250 orders a month, 1,000 orders a month or 2,500 orders a month · must have a warehouse in your country, a minimum your volume meets

    Our pick

    Amplifier

    • 50 orders a month: $255 a month
    • 250 orders a month: $837 a month
    • 1,000 orders a month: $2,900 a month
    • 2,500 orders a month: $7,100 a month

Lowest cost, and it has a warehouse in your country and a minimum your volume meets.

    Why not the others?

Left out: Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) US, Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) US (fulfils only its own marketplace's orders); 4 others (delivery is included in its price).

Missing a must-have: Fulfillrite, Shipfusion (misses: a minimum your volume meets).

Can't confirm here (a must-have or the full price isn't published): Shopify Fulfillment Network (3PL partner directory), ShipBob, ShipMonk, Red Stag Fulfillment, ShipHero Fulfillment (now LVK), Rush Order Inc, eFulfillment Service (EFS), Saltbox, ShipNetwork, Stord (incl. former Ware2Go by UPS), Ryder E-commerce Fulfillment (formerly Whiplash), Easyship Fulfillment, ShipTop, Fulfillrite, Shipfusion.

How we picked

Pick and pack for single-item orders plus fixed monthly fees and minimums, before storage, receiving and postage, at regular-season rates. Our pick is the lowest cost option that has every must-have; within 10% of it, no contract, faster payouts and longer support hours win. Payment from a provider never changes it. How we pick

Delivery included in the price

  • For 50 orders a month or 250 orders a month · must have a warehouse in your country, a minimum your volume meets

    Our pick

    Fulfyld

    • 50 orders a month: $399 a month
    • 250 orders a month: $1,995 a month

Lowest cost, and it has a warehouse in your country and a minimum your volume meets.

    Why not the others?

Left out: Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) US, Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) US (fulfils only its own marketplace's orders); 17 others (postage is billed on top).

Can't confirm here (a must-have or the full price isn't published): Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) US, Flexport eCommerce Fulfillment, Simpl Fulfillment.

    • 1,000 orders a month: $8,456 a month

Cheapest overall. It doesn't publish whether it meets this must-have: a minimum your volume meets.

ShipBob vs ShipMonk

Neither publishes its main per-order fee, so the comparison is what each one does publish, and what you’ll need to ask for:

Checked ShipBob Oct 26, 2026, ShipMonk Oct 26, 2026.

ShipBob is the more open of the two on paper: its storage and receiving rates are public. ShipMonk publishes one useful rule instead: your monthly minimum is your monthly order volume times your first-item pick fee, less 20%. Ask both for a quote on the same order profile, then put the numbers side by side in the calculator.

We compare published prices, not service quality, so we don’t rate either company. ShipBob’s full published fee list is on ShipBob pricing.

ShipMonk pricing

ShipMonk’s pricing page lists what it charges for, not how much. Its custom quote, in its own words, "will outline platform, onboarding, and any add-on technology fees specific to your business needs." Its terms let you close your account with 30 days’ written notice, and returning your stock is billed at its standard pick and pack rates.

ShipHero pricing

ShipHero’s own fulfillment service now runs as LVK, and shiphero.com/fulfillment opens LVK’s site. ShipHero itself sells warehouse management software, which LVK says its network runs on; that software isn’t a 3PL and isn’t priced here.

What LVK publishes: a $500 a month tech fee on top of your fulfillment fees, and a default receiving fee of $0.31 a unit unless your agreement sets another rate. Pick and pack is set per account. To leave, its terms ask for 90 days’ notice and a penalty fee set in your signed agreement, so read that clause before you sign.

Common questions

What is the best alternative to ShipBob?

It depends on your volume. Our rules use only prices a 3PL publishes. With postage billed on top, Amplifier has the lowest full monthly bill at every volume from 50 to 2,500 orders. With delivery included, Fulfyld does at 50 and 250 orders. Well-known rivals like ShipMonk and Red Stag only quote.

Is ShipMonk cheaper than ShipBob?

No one can tell from public prices: neither publishes its per-order fee. ShipBob publishes its storage and receiving rates; ShipMonk publishes no amounts at all, only how it works out your monthly minimum. Ask both for a quote on the same order profile and compare them fee by fee.

What does ShipMonk charge?

Its pricing page names its fee types, such as pick and pack, receiving and returns, without amounts. It does publish how it sets your monthly minimum: your monthly order volume times your first-item pick fee, less 20%. Its terms let you close your account with 30 days' written notice.

How much does ShipHero cost?

ShipHero's own fulfillment service now runs as LVK, which charges a $500 monthly tech fee and sets pick and pack fees per account. ShipHero itself sells warehouse management software; LVK says its network runs on it. That software's pricing isn't covered here.
