Shippo charges a monthly fee that depends on how many labels you print, plus the postage on every label. Starter is $0 for up to 30 labels a month. Pro runs from $19 a month ($17 paid yearly) for up to 200 labels to $199 for 10,000. Premier, for unlimited shipments and 15 or more users, is quoted on request. Paying yearly takes about 10% off.

- Pro: everything in Starter, plus pick lists and scan-to-print, estimated delivery dates, branded tracking pages, notification emails and packing slips, chat and phone support, and up to 5 user logins.
- Premier: unlimited shipments and 15 or more users, priced by quote.

What the pricing page does not list: label rates
Shippo’s plans are the software fee. The cost of each label, the postage, is a separate rate that Shippo’s pricing page does not list. The page says its plans include discounted USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL Express labels, and it shows no rate per label. The rate for your parcel depends on its size, weight and where it is going, so check it in Shippo’s own rate tool before you commit. Shippo’s API calls that are not tied to a Shippo label, such as tracking, rating and address validation, are billed separately at its API prices.
Is Shippo worth it for you?
It fits shops that print few labels (the free plan covers 30 a month), sell on several stores (store connections are unlimited on every plan) or want branded tracking and phone support on a flat plan fee.

How much does Shippo cost a month?
Shippo's Starter plan is free for up to 30 labels a month. Pro costs $19 a month for up to 200 labels, $29 for 500, $54 for 1,000, $79 for 2,500, $139 for 5,000 and $199 for 10,000. Paying yearly is about 10% less. Postage is charged on top of the plan fee. Premier is quoted on request.
Is Shippo free?
Yes, up to a point. The Starter plan costs nothing for up to 30 labels a month, with one user login and unlimited store connections. You still pay the postage on each label. If you connect your own carrier account on Starter, Shippo adds 5 cents a label; on Pro and Premier that is free.
