The bottom line: Service Fusion is the rare field service app that doesn’t charge by the person, which makes it one of the dearer options for a small crew and one of the cheaper ones once you pass about 6 people. Plans are month to month, and paying yearly takes 15% off. The card rate it publishes is a floor (“as low as 2.9% + 30¢”), not a fixed rate.
| Plan | Monthly | Paid yearly | Users |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $225 | $192 | Unlimited users |
| Plus | $350 | $298 | Unlimited users |
| Pro | $575 | $489 | Unlimited users |
The yearly prices are per month, paid for the year up front. Service Fusion’s billing help article also offers semi-annual billing at 10% off, with no price shown for it on the pricing page.
What each plan includes
According to Service Fusion’s pricing page:
- Starter: customer management, estimates and jobs, scheduling and dispatch, QuickBooks Online and Desktop integration, invoicing and payments, reporting, and text message alerts to customers.
- Plus: everything in Starter, plus job photos, inventory management, job costing, and integrated voice and text.
- Pro: everything in Plus, plus the open API, custom documents, e-signatures, a customer web portal, and progress billing and recurring invoicing.
The prices above are what US visitors see once the page loads (checked Oct 23, 2026). The page’s underlying code holds a different, higher set of prices that its scripts replace before anyone sees them. Visitors in Canada see no prices at all, only a request for a demo and pricing.

Maintenance agreements: check before you buy. On the pricing page, the Plus plan card lists “Service Agreements”, but the FAQ says they’re included with Pro and sold as a $149 a month add-on on Plus. If the add-on applies, Plus with agreements is $499 a month, $76 less than Pro. Ask Service Fusion which one you’d pay, in writing.
What a year of Service Fusion costs for a small team
For a 5-person crew on Starter, at our default of 50 invoices a month at $400, all paid by card online:
- Software, monthly billing: $225 x 12 = $2,700 a year. Paid yearly: $192 x 12 = $2,304.
- Card fees: 2.9% + 30¢ on a $400 invoice is $11.90. Times 50 invoices is $595 a month, or $7,140 a year.
- Total: $9,840 a year on monthly billing, or $9,444 paid yearly.
The card fees are the bigger number, as at almost every app, and your real rate can be higher than the floor, so get it quoted before you compare. Estimate from published prices; add-ons, sales tax and any setup costs are not included.

Up to 5 people, Jobber™ Connect ($199 a month for 5 users) and Housecall Pro Essentials ($189 for up to 5) cost less than Starter. From 6 people on, Service Fusion’s flat $225 wins. At 6 people, Jobber Connect is $228 a month (the 5-user band plus $29 per added user) or $299 for the 10-user band, and Housecall Pro needs Max at $329, plus $35 for each user over 8. The gap grows with every person you add.
Card fees barely move the comparison: Jobber charges 2.9% + 30¢ online, the same as Service Fusion’s lowest rate, and Housecall Pro charges 2.99% with no fixed fee. Full breakdowns: Jobber pricing, Housecall Pro pricing. If you’re leaving Jobber because of its per-user bands, Jobber alternatives ranks the apps by your reason for switching.
Service Fusion’s card fees
Payments run through FusionPay, powered by PaySimple. This is everything Service Fusion publishes:
| Payment | Fee | On $400 |
|---|---|---|
| Card paid online | as low as 2.9% + 30¢ | $11.90 at that rate |
| Card in person | Not published | |
| Bank transfer (ACH) | Not published | |
| Instant payout | Not published |
Jobber publishes a 1% bank (ACH) rate and Housecall Pro 1%, which cuts the fee on a $400 invoice to $4.00 at Jobber. Service Fusion doesn’t publish one, so ask for its ACH rate on the demo. Contracts and how to cancel
- Month to month: “Service Fusion offers all plans on a month-to-month basis.”
- Automatic renewal: the subscription agreement says the term “will automatically renew for successive periods equal to the initial term”.
- Notice to cancel: “30 days’ written notice prior to the end of the then current term.”
- No refunds: “All Fees are payable in United States Dollars, and non-refundable.” An upgrade or downgrade doesn’t give a pro-rated refund either.
- Other charges: $35 for each declined subscription payment, and the agreement lets Service Fusion change its fees on notice, including charging for features that used to be free.
Extras Service Fusion doesn’t price
GPS fleet tracking and ServiceCall.ai (calls, VoIP and call tracking) are listed as add-ons on every plan, with no price on the pricing page. No setup or onboarding fee is published either way, and there’s no free trial advertised; the page offers a free demo. Support hours differ between its own pages: the pricing page says Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central time, by phone or email, and its help center says Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central time, by live chat, callback or message from inside the app.
Service Fusion review: what the published terms tell you
We don’t collect user ratings, so this is a review of the price and terms, from Service Fusion’s own pages.
Strong points: unlimited users on every plan, QuickBooks Online and Desktop on the cheapest plan, published prices with no contract required, and Pro adds agreements, a customer portal and recurring invoicing in one step.
Weak points: the entry price is high for a solo owner or small crew; only an “as low as” card rate is published, with no in-person or bank rate; GPS tracking and the calling add-on aren’t priced; fees are non-refundable; and support is weekdays only.
Good fit: crews of 6 or more, especially with office staff or part-time techs who’d each count as a paid user elsewhere.
Think twice if: you’re 1 to 5 people (Jobber and Housecall Pro cost less, above), or you want to try the software before a sales demo.
Our field service software guide has all 19 apps side by side, and the cost calculator explains how each plan is picked.

Common questions
How much does Service Fusion cost per month?
On monthly billing, Starter is $225, Plus is $350 and Pro is $575 a month. Paid yearly, they work out to $192, $298 and $489 a month (15% less). Every plan includes unlimited users. Card processing fees are extra.
Does Service Fusion charge per user?
No. Service Fusion says every plan includes unlimited users, so a crew of 20 pays the same as a crew of 2. That makes it more expensive than Jobber or Housecall Pro for 1 to 5 people, and cheaper from about 6 people at our default numbers.
What are Service Fusion's credit card fees?
Service Fusion's payment service, FusionPay (powered by PaySimple), advertises card rates 'as low as 2.90% + $0.30'. That is the lowest rate, not a fixed one. It doesn't publish in-person, bank (ACH) or instant payout rates.
Does Service Fusion have a contract?
Its pricing page says every plan is month to month, with 15% off for paying yearly. Its subscription agreement adds that the term renews automatically, you must give 30 days' written notice before the end of the current term to cancel, and fees are non-refundable.
Does Service Fusion have a free trial?
Its pricing page doesn't advertise a free trial. It offers a free demo instead. Jobber, Housecall Pro, Tradify and Fergus all offer 14-day free trials if you want to try software first; Tradify and Fergus price per user, which suits a small trade crew.
