FieldPulse pricing: no price list, and a year you can't cancel

FieldPulse doesn't publish prices. You buy seats upfront, quoted after a demo, on a 12-month term its own terms call non-cancelable, which renews for another year unless you give 60 days' written notice.

The bottom line: the contract is the part to weigh, and under it the seats you pay for can only go up mid-term, never down. Its standard card rate is 3% + 25¢, which on a $400 invoice costs more than at Jobber™, Housecall Pro or Service Fusion. FieldPulse can be a good fit; just sign knowing you’re committing to a year.

FieldPulse's pricing, before sales tax. From FieldPulse's pricing page, checked Oct 21, 2026.

FieldPulse’s pricing page also says estimated FieldPulse pricing on third-party review sites “hasn’t been verified by us”, so we don’t repeat any. If you’ve seen a number, ask FieldPulse to confirm it in writing.

How FieldPulse prices it

From FieldPulse’s pricing page, checked Oct 21, 2026:

  • Seats, bought upfront: “You purchase a set number of seats upfront for your contract term, and the rate depends on what each seat needs access to.”
  • One core platform, optional premium products: the page lists Engage (phone system), Operator AI, Chat AI, Pricebook, FieldPulse Payments, FieldPulse Financing, Fleet Tracking and Custom Forms as premium products, and its FAQ adds Dynamic Proposals. “Some are flat-rate, some are consumption-based, and others are seat-based.” Engage is “line and license-based.” None has a price on the page.
  • Included on every plan: Maverick, its AI assistant, according to FieldPulse’s Maverick page.
  • No hidden fees, it says: “Your seat count, the rate for each seat type, and premium products are optional and will be laid out before you sign anything.”

The page doesn’t list which features are in the core platform and which need a premium product, so check that against your must-haves before you sign.

The 12-month contract, in FieldPulse’s own words

From FieldPulse’s terms of service:

  • One year to start: “The initial term of a subscription is one year unless otherwise stated in your order form.”
  • No early exit: “Your obligation to pay all fees for the full subscription term is non-cancelable and not subject to offset, reduction, or refund.” The terms also say being unhappy with the service, or not using it, isn’t grounds to end it early.
  • Renews for another year: unless “you give written notice of non-renewal to cancellations@fieldpulse.com at least sixty (60) days before the end of the then-current term.” FieldPulse says it emails the account owner a reminder before each annual renewal.
  • Prices can rise at renewal: “Fees may be increased for any Renewal Term upon sixty (60) days written notice.”
  • Billed upfront: you’re invoiced for the initial term (and implementation, if any) when you accept, due within 15 days. No implementation fee amount is published.
  • Closing the business: you can ask to end the subscription with proof of closure, but “Fees for the rest of the term remain due,” though FieldPulse may agree to a lower amount.
  • Month to month costs more: month-to-month subscriptions exist, “priced at a premium” that “will not exceed fifty percent (50%)” of the yearly rate, with 30 days’ written notice to cancel.

If you might leave, set a calendar reminder about 70 days before the renewal date.

Users and seats

  • Adding someone mid-year: once you hit your seat count, adding a user raises it automatically, and the new seat is “charged for the one-year term upfront.”
  • Removing someone doesn’t lower the bill: “the total number of allocated or billed seats shall remain unchanged when users are deactivated or removed, regardless of billing frequency or renewal term.”

For a crew that grows and shrinks with the season, that matters: you pay all year for your busiest month’s headcount. Ask how many seats the quote assumes, and whether seasonal or part-time techs need full seats.

FieldPulse’s card fees

FieldPulse Payments runs through Rainforest Pay and is open to US businesses only. The terms allow connecting another processor instead, with FieldPulse providing only the integration. This is the standard schedule from its payments terms; a custom pricing agreement replaces it if you’re given one.

FeeStandard rateOn $400
Card, online or in person3% + 25¢$12.25
Bank transfer (ACH)1% + 25¢$4.25
Next-day funding0.5% of the amount
Monthly access fee$9.00 a month
Chargeback, ACH return or dispute$25.00 each
Refund25¢ per item
Deposit; card account updater50¢ each

At our default of 50 invoices a month at $400, all paid by card, that’s $612.50 a month in card fees plus the $9 access fee: about $7,458 a year. The same invoices cost $7,140 a year at Jobber’s 2.9% + 30¢, so FieldPulse’s standard schedule is about $318 a year more on fees alone, before any software price. The terms also say FieldPulse can raise processing fees “at any time” with notice in the app’s billing summary.

Two ways to cut it: steer customers to bank payments (the ACH row above), and FieldPulse offers “Dual Payment Options” (separate card and bank prices) so customers who pay by card can cover the difference. Read credit card surcharge rules before you add a card fee, and compare every app on card fees by app.

The difference that matters most is the exit, not the card rate. With any of the other three you can leave if it doesn’t work out (Jobber also sells a cheaper 1-year commitment and a yearly prepaid plan); with FieldPulse’s standard terms you pay to the end of the year. Questions to ask on the demo

  1. What is the price per seat, for an office seat and a field seat, and how many seats does the quote assume?
  2. Is my term 12 months, and can the order form say month to month instead? What would month to month cost?
  3. Is there an implementation or onboarding fee, and how much?
  4. Which features I need are in the core platform, and which need a premium product? What does each cost?
  5. Will you give me a custom payments rate below 3% + 25¢? On 50 invoices of $400 a month, every 0.1% of card rate is about $20 a month.
  6. How much can the price rise at renewal?

Get the answers on the order form itself: the terms say you’re not relying on anything that isn’t written in them.

FieldPulse review: what the published terms tell you

We don’t collect user ratings, so this is a review of the price and terms, from FieldPulse’s own pages. Its pricing page calls it the “Highest rated FSM” and shows G2 badges; read those reviews on G2 itself.

Strong points: a straight answer on trial and pricing (no trial, no fake price list), a stated no-hidden-fees policy, a published payments schedule with a 1% bank rate, separate card and bank pricing to recover card fees, and an AI assistant on every plan.

Weak points: no price until a demo; a 12-month term you can’t cancel early; seats that can’t be reduced mid-term; a standard card rate that costs more than Jobber’s, Housecall Pro’s and Service Fusion’s on any invoice over $50, plus a monthly access fee; and unpriced premium products.

Good fit: an established crew with steady headcount that has seen the software in a demo, is confident it will stay a full year, and negotiates the seat rate and card rate before signing.

Think twice if: you’re testing field service software for the first time, your crew size swings with the season, or you want to be able to leave on a month’s notice.

Our field service software guide has all 19 apps side by side, and Jobber alternatives ranks the apps by your reason for switching.

Common questions

How much does FieldPulse cost?

FieldPulse doesn't publish a price. It is seat-based: you buy a set number of seats upfront for your contract term, and the rate depends on what each seat can access. You get the number after a demo. FieldPulse's own pricing page says estimated prices on third-party review sites haven't been verified by it.

Can you cancel FieldPulse early?

Not under its standard terms. The first term is one year unless your order form says otherwise, and the terms say your obligation to pay for the full term is non-cancelable and not refundable. It renews for another year unless you email written notice to cancellations@fieldpulse.com at least 60 days before the term ends. Month-to-month plans exist, at up to 50% more than the yearly rate, with 30 days' notice.

Does FieldPulse charge per user?

It charges per seat, and the rate depends on what each seat can access. If you add a user past your seat count, the subscription goes up automatically and the new seat is billed for the rest of the one-year term upfront. Removing a user doesn't lower the seat count you pay for.

What are FieldPulse's credit card fees?

Its standard payments schedule is 3% + 25¢ per card payment (online or in person, one rate) and 1% + 25¢ per bank (ACH) payment, plus a $9 monthly access fee and $25 per chargeback. A custom pricing agreement replaces these if FieldPulse gives you one.

Does FieldPulse have a free trial?

No. Its pricing page says: 'No, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.' It offers a demo instead. Jobber and Housecall Pro both publish prices and offer 14-day free trials. So do Tradify and Fergus, which price per user, bill monthly and have no long contract.
