ServiceTitan pricing: why there's no price, and what to ask

ServiceTitan publishes no plan prices. It sells three packages, Starter, Essentials and The Works, priced per technician and quoted after a demo. The only price it publishes is its Dispatch Pro add-on, $69 to $138 per technician a month.

The bottom line: you can’t price ServiceTitan without a sales call. It bills per “managed technician”, so the bill grows with every technician you add, and the rate itself is only in your quote. Its referral terms describe its ideal customer as a shop with at least three revenue-generating technicians and one full-time office person. If that’s not you yet, the priced options below are a faster comparison.

What each package includes

According to ServiceTitan’s pricing page:

  • Starter: dispatching, scheduling, call booking, invoicing and a pricebook.
  • Essentials: everything in Starter, plus mobile estimates and payroll management.
  • The Works: the full suite, adding configurable payroll, advanced reporting, commission tracking and customizable memberships. Memberships (maintenance agreements) are only in The Works.

What ServiceTitan doesn’t publish

We checked ServiceTitan’s pricing page on Oct 26, 2026. None of these are on it:

  • The price per technician for any package
  • A minimum number of technicians (a search snippet claims one; we couldn’t find it on ServiceTitan’s own pages, so we don’t state it)
  • Contract length, auto-renewal and cancellation terms
  • Implementation or onboarding fees
  • Card processing rates for online, in-person or bank payments
  • A free trial or support hours

The one published price is Dispatch Pro, an add-on for existing accounts, in the second table above: per technician, falling from $138 to $69 a month as the shop grows, less on an annual plan.

Questions to ask on the sales call

  1. What is the price per managed technician for each package, and who counts as one? Ask whether office staff, apprentices or seasonal techs count.
  2. Is there a minimum number of technicians I’ll be billed for?
  3. How long is the contract, does it auto-renew, and how much notice do I need to give to leave?
  4. What is the one-time implementation or onboarding fee?
  5. What are your card and bank processing rates, online and in person? On 50 invoices of $400 a month, every 0.1% of card rate is about $20 a month.
  6. How much can the price rise at renewal?
  7. Which features in my quote are add-ons, and what does each cost?

ServiceTitan vs Housecall Pro and Jobber

Housecall Pro and Jobber™ publish prices and offer 14-day free trials, which makes them the usual comparison. Housecall Pro puts maintenance agreements on its top plan (Max); ServiceTitan puts memberships in The Works. Jobber’s pricing page doesn’t say which plan includes service agreements. For an HVAC shop, HVAC software prices the cheapest plan with agreements at every app. See Jobber vs Housecall Pro for those two side by side, or every Jobber plan and price.

ServiceTitan review: who it’s for

Good fit: HVAC, plumbing and electrical shops with three or more technicians, an office team, and memberships to manage, who want payroll, commission tracking and reporting in the same system.

Think twice if: you’re under three technicians, want to try before talking to sales, or need to know the price before a demo.

Common questions

How much does ServiceTitan cost?

ServiceTitan doesn't publish its prices. Every package says 'Request Pricing', and the price is per managed technician, quoted after a demo where it asks about your trade, number of technicians and office staff. Its only published price is the Dispatch Pro add-on for existing accounts, $69 to $138 per technician a month on its monthly plan.

Does ServiceTitan have a free trial?

ServiceTitan's pricing page doesn't offer a free trial; it offers a demo. Jobber and Housecall Pro both publish prices and offer 14-day free trials if you want to try software before talking to sales.

Is ServiceTitan worth it for a small business?

ServiceTitan is built for larger shops. Its own referral terms describe its ideal customer as having at least three revenue-generating technicians and one full-time office person. Under that size, apps with published prices are easier to compare and usually cheaper to start.

What are the main ServiceTitan competitors?

For larger HVAC, plumbing and electrical shops: FieldEdge, Simpro and FieldPulse, all quote only. For smaller crews with published prices: Housecall Pro, Jobber, Service Fusion and ServiceM8, plus Tradify and Fergus, which price per user and are made for trade contractors.

Is Housecall Pro or ServiceTitan better?

It depends on size. Housecall Pro publishes its prices, from $79 a month for one user, offers a 14-day free trial and puts maintenance agreements on its Max plan. ServiceTitan publishes no prices and targets shops with at least three technicians and an office person; memberships are in The Works.
